# Play MCP

> An independent, fully open-source Model Context Protocol server for working with Google Play from compatible AI clients. The code is licensed under GPL-3.0-only.

Local release, review, bulk-report and all 25 cataloged Developer Reporting reads are available from source. The catalog contains 172 operations: 40 implemented and 132 coming soon. Ten existing-edit reads are also available with an explicit edit ID. They inspect snapshots that may contain unpublished changes; they never create or commit an edit. A store-listing preview compares proposed text with an existing listing and returns an unexecuted PATCH proposal. It does not check for later changes or validate the proposal with Google; PATCH execution remains coming soon. The method catalog separates implemented operations from planned coverage; a catalog entry does not mean a working tool. Public hosted access is in development and is not available for customer connections. No published package is advertised on this site. Google account permissions still determine accessible data. This project is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
