A clear boundary
around your data.

This page describes the current website and local Play MCP software. Play MCP is an independent, open-source project. It is not a Google product.

Public hosted MCP access is in development. This website does not currently connect to your Google account or accept customer credentials.

This website

The website does not include third-party analytics, advertising pixels, marketing cookies, signup forms or external font requests. The example responses use synthetic data. Copy buttons use your browser’s clipboard only after you select the button.

Cloudflare proxies this website, and Coolify manages its hosting. These infrastructure layers process request information such as your IP address, request path, browser information and request time for delivery, security and operational purposes. The website application disables access logs; infrastructure logging and retention are controlled separately. Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Do not include tokens or private information in website URLs.

When you run the local MCP

You configure Google access on your own machine. The MCP sends authorized requests to Google APIs and returns the results to your MCP client. The local software does not send your credentials or reports to this website or the project maintainer.

Your selected AI or MCP client may process or retain tool results under its own settings and policies. Review those before connecting private app data. Google also processes the API requests you authorize.

The planned hosted service

The hosting implementation is being built for separate customer authorization, encrypted credential storage and a disconnect action. It must complete real-account and client verification before public access is offered. The public deployment’s operator, contact details, infrastructure logging, retention and deletion information will be published before launch.

Self-hosted deployments have their own operator and infrastructure configuration. Read the security documentation and inspect the source before deploying.

Links and feedback

Links to GitHub, Google or other services take you to sites with their own data practices. Public GitHub issues are visible to others. Never include account credentials, purchase tokens, private reviews or exported reports in an issue.

Report security concerns through GitHub’s private vulnerability reporting. For ordinary website corrections, use the website issue tracker.
